Here is a list of all the reasons why I feel like people should not think the grass is greener on the other side.

• NOT GUARANTEED INCOME-If you are doing a home based business it is not always guaranteed like a paycheck from an hourly job. The best bet is choosing a business that has residual income and doing all the right activities to keeping your customers satisfied.
• WHERE IS MY FRIENDS?-When working at home you tend to feel a like “out of the loop”. You will not have gossip time with co-workers. Again depending on the business that you choose depends on how much human contact you will have. Obviously having a biz that requires you to work strictly on the computer versus having a little phone time, will give you that extra feeling of seclusion.
• THE FUTURE-the company for the product/service you work with may not have a retirement plan and health Insurance. So if that is the case make sure you have these things set up through a spouse or another source.
• PERSONAL TIME VS WORK TIME-This is a huge issue for a work at home mom. There is a fine line between the two when you are doing both out of the same place. You will need to have great organization skills and self discipline. I will go further into ways to separate the two later on in my blog.

In conclusion like I said the grass may not be greener on the other side, so make your decision wisely. Are you right for a Home Based Business?
